GeneSight® Testing at Neumind Clinic

At Neumind Clinic, we offer the GeneSight® test to help guide mental health medication decisions. This genetic test can provide your psychiatrist with insight into how your body may respond to certain medications, helping to reduce the frustrating trial-and-error process.

Affordable Access to Better Care

Cost should never be a barrier to your mental wellness. Most patients pay $330 or less for the GeneSight test, and many pay $0 with Medicare (Part B) or Medicaid.

  • We review your insurance benefits before processing your test.

  • If your cost could be more than $330, we’ll contact you first to discuss financial assistance or interest-free payment options.

  • All patients qualify for a reduced self-pay rate of $330 if insurance doesn’t cover the test or if you are uninsured.

Our Simple Process

  1. Order & Sample Collection – Your clinician orders the test and collects your DNA sample.

  2. Cost Review – We review insurance benefits and contact you if your estimated cost is above $330.

  3. Testing & Results – GeneSight analyzes your sample and sends results to your clinician.

  4. Next Steps – You and your clinician review the report to make informed medication decisions.
