How Psychotherapy Works at Neumind

We start with a conversation—nothing formal or intimidating. During your first visit, we’ll talk about what’s been going on, what your goals are, and how therapy can support you.

 

From there, sessions usually happen once a week, either in-person at one of our Chicago-area offices or through telehealth. Each session is a chance to check in, explore deeper thoughts, and build new ways of coping.

 

Our licensed therapists use approaches that are backed by research, but always tailored to you. Some of the methods we may draw from include:

 

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness and grounding tools
